What is the best time of the year to visit Fuerteventura?
Fuerteventura is one of the sunniest spots in European Union – it has more than 3000 hours of sunshine per year. The climate here is pleasant throughout the year. For this reason, Fuerteventura is called the island of eternal spring.
On summer time temperatures rarely fall below 25°C and usually reaches at least 28°C at midday. Between the months of June and August it doesn’t rain at all.
Winter months are enjoyably mild with average temperatures of 20ºC and have an increased probability of short showers between the months of December and March.
The very best weather in Fuerteventura starting from May to September. The most crowded months in this period are July and August. So if you want to flight cheaper and to spend less money for accommodation and car rental we recommend to visit Fuerteventura on May, June or September. You will then enjoy the best weather without the tourist crowds.
